This is a community trip, not a tour. We plan the house, the meals, and the moments; you show up ready to ride.

Good questions
Yep! We were all new once and needed someone to show us the slopes. We have every level on our trips, and professional lessons are available for all of them (booked separately). As long as you want to learn either sport, you're very welcome. One note: the ski-out trail from the chalet (Lower Dave Murray) is intermediate, so beginners ride down the road to the gondola with us.
Newbie (bunny slopes): brand new, or a few days in; needs help to stop safely. Improver (green): can stop safely and make heel side and toe side turns on gentle greens; learning to link turns. Intermediate (blue): links turns and controls speed on greens outside the learning area; working up to easier blues. Can use all chairlifts. Advanced (black diamond): links turns on blues; learning short turns, carving, off-piste and powder. Expert (double black): in control on blacks and comfortable in the terrain park; learning steeps, trees, drops and off-piste.
Nope! Activities are opt-in, but we encourage skiing and snowboarding since that's the purpose of our trips and community. Après peeps who want no snow-sport vibes: join us at one of our off-season connects instead.
Yes. You'll need a passport valid for travel to Canada.
Pay a 50% deposit by November 10, 2026 to hold your spot, then pay the balance any time before January 10, 2027. Or pay in full up front. A 3% card service fee is shown as its own line before checkout.
All PTMP trips are non-refundable and all sales are final. If we cancel or postpone a trip (including for severe weather), what you've paid applies to the rescheduled trip dollar for dollar. The full policy is in our Terms and Conditions.
Strongly recommended, since trips are non-refundable. Look for a policy that covers trip cancellation and winter sports.
Yes. You pick your room when you book. Book together with up to 4 travelers to room with friends; most bedrooms can be set up as one king or two twins.
Rent it. You can have rentals delivered to the chalet or pick them up at the mountain. Most packages include skis or a snowboard, boots and poles, in beginner or performance options. Tell us your rental needs when you book.
We'll share a full packing list before the trip. Think layers, a swimsuit for the hot tub, and something fun for Takeover Night. Tip: for pricier items, be resourceful. Buy secondhand, or rent gear online.
Everything you bring needs to fit in a medium suitcase. We can carry skis and boards on the roof racks.
Plan to land at Vancouver (YVR) in the morning so we can ride up to the chalet together. On the last day we head out by 11am, so book your return flight with that in mind.
We carpool in rental cars all week, driven by the organizers, plus airport transfers from YVR. There's no public bus or shuttle in Taluswood, so you won't need a car of your own.
We'll have a pre-trip call for Q&A and start a WhatsApp group closer to the trip so you can meet the crew before we go.
